Evolution: Beloved Religion in All Grades

Teaching of Evolution Extends From at Least 2nd Grade Through High School

[Author's note: Micro or small Evolution is sound science. But full blown or macro Evolution, is taught and originates from Charles Darwin's 1859 book, THE ORIGIN OF SPECIES. What biology and science classes don't illustrate is chapter six in Darwin’s book that describes the "difficulties" with his theory. They are obvious and profound problems that to this day have not been scientifically overcome. Darwin said, "...why, if species have descended from other species by insensibly fine gradations, do we not everywhere see innumerable transitional forms? Why is not all nature in confusion instead of the species being, as we see them, well defined?" The devastating effect from a scientific standpoint these "difficulties" have on macro Evolution cannot be overstated. This further illustrates that Evolution as taught in most public schools is divorced from sound science and is only upheld by a fierce silencing of opposing evidence and thought.]

The teaching of the religious faith of Evolution extends from at least 2nd grade through high school at the Springfield Public Schools. Here are a few examples:

2nd grade science book, McGraw Hill, page C 46 and C 47 say, “…Saber-toothed cat. It became extinct eleven thousand years ago.”; “This dinosaur lived on Earth millions of years ago.”; “The mammoth lived 20 thousand years ago.”

Remember, any thing over 6,000 years is strait from the blind religious faith of Evolution.

3rd grade science book, McGraw Hill, page C 20, “fossils tell us the story of life on Earth billions of years ago.” Page C 22, “People have found fossils that are more than 3 billion years old!” Page C 24, “It came from a dinosaur that lived millions of years ago.” Page C 25, “Ferns are some of Earth’s oldest plants. Plants that make flowers came later.” Page C 26, “Millions of years ago, swamps…”

4th grade science book, McGraw Hill, page A 30, “…scientists have traced the ancestors of the modern horse back about 60 million years.” Page A 34, “The best know mass extinction is that of dinosaurs. They died out 65 million years ago…”

5th grade science book, McGraw Hill, page S 3, “They found the rock layer was 65 million years old. That means…” Page B 58, “About 18,000 years ago, great sheets of ice moved deep into the heartland of what is now the United States.”; “…during the past 700,000 years.”; “Over millions of years, continents…”; “Fossils from about 65 million years ago suggest that…” Page C 47, “The Story of Coal.” Chart reaching back to a fictional 300 million years.

6th grade secondary science book, Holt Science and Technology, Level Green, page 70, “Absolute Dating: A Measure of Time”, “Because radioactive decay occurs at a steady rate, scientists can use the relative amounts of stable and unstable isotopes present in an object to determine the object’s age.” As I illistrated in Chapter 7, the truth is these popular dating methods are far from a perfect science and have been used by the Springfield Public Schools to forward very inaccurate dates.

Attachment B of my presentation shows photos by Creation Evidence Museum in Glen Rose, Texas, and by others, of human foot prints along side dinosaur foot prints, as well as photos of human body parts and a man made hammer found in dinosaur layers of the Earth. This irrefutable evidence, alone, creates a catastrophic problem with the dates returned by much of radioactive decay dating. Again, this important information is completely omitted from the Springfield Public Schools text books.

[Page 570 of the currently used SPS Biology book (Miller & Levine Biology ISBN-13: 978-0-13-366951) explains that one of the main validations of Evolution is the modern ability to date rocks. As this website http://legacy-cdn-assets.answersingenesis.org/assets/pdf/am/v4/n4/assumptions.pdf illustrates, using this modern radiometric dating method, 1986 volcanic rock from Mt. St. Helen yielded an age of 350,000 years old, 1954 Mt. Ngauruhoe volcanic eruption rock dated to be 3.5 million years old, and a rock at the top of the Grand Canyon formed by a recent volcanic eruption yielded the same age as volcanic rock deep below the canyon wall – 1.143 Billion years old. This conclusively proves the undependability of such radiometric dating that is used to argue Evolution as true since volcanic rock conclusively known to have been created in 1986 and 1954 should show an age of only a few decades, not hundreds of thousands or millions of years old, and recent volcanic rock on top of the Grand Canyon should, according to Evolution, show an age millions to billions of years younger than volcanic rock deep below the canyon wall. Even a novice can grasp these powerful concepts and contradictions.]

7th grade secondary science book, Life Science, Holt Science and Technology, page 203, “Dinosaurs dominated the Earth for about 150 million years.”; “…65 million years ago, dinosaurs and many other animal and plant species became extinct.”

8th grade biology book, Biology, Glenco/McGraw-Hill, copyright 2005, page 614 has a drawing of an Neanderthal person, and says, “Humanlike ancestors first appeared around three million years ago…One of the Homo sapiens groups was known as Neanderthal man…Neanderthal man became extinct.”

What the Springfield Public Schools don’t tell these precious 8th graders is that, 10% of the European population today has the bone structure of the supposedly extinct Neanderthal Man. In Evolution, Fact or Fiction?, by John Blanchard, Evangelical Press, 2002, on page 13 the author sheds light on this common deceptive tactic used on these 8th graders. He writes, “Unearthed in Germany in 1857, Neanderthal Man was touted as the vital ‘missing link’, but the evidence against it has become so overwhelming that most experts now agree with the verdict that ‘Neanderthal’ was a card-carrying member of the human family.

High School: Earth Science text book (tenth edition, Tarbuck - Lutgens used in the Springfield R-12 School District), says on page 287, “A respected scholar of the Bible, Ussher constructed a chronology of human and Earth history in which he determined that the Earth was only a few thousand years old, having been created in 4004 B.C.” and then they say, “Features such as mountains and canyons, which today we know take great periods of time to form…” The Springfield Public Schools make it a point to criticize the accuracy of the Bible, calling the Bible by name and quoting its dates as they try to chip away at students faith. Springfield Public Schools use the time proven tactics of humiliation and bogus science.

[Author's note: "...take great periods of time to form..." It is never illustrated to the students that on every continent, the geological column (layers of rock in the earth) illustrate huge deposits of material that had to have been laid down quickly else fossils, including fossil fuels would not have formed. Organic material rots away unless it is quickly and deeply buried. It also makes very good sense that Canyons can be made quickly with the drainage of a global flood. Again, cognitive thought is not permitted in the Springfield Public School curriculum if it endangers the establishment's religion.]

              

High School: The biology text book (Biology, eighth edition, Sylvia S. Mader, used in the Springfield R-12 Public Schools), on page 283 says, “Darwinian view of the world required an intellectual revolution…helped bring about the new worldview.” and then, “Evolution explains both the unity and the diversity of life. Living things share common characteristics because they have common ancestry.” This implies that only the “intellectual” embrace Evolution. So if you try to be honest about science and archeology, you obviously are lacking intellectual ability, according to the Springfield Public Schools. They use shame, pear pressure and omission of facts to convert young lives to the establishment’s religion. [Authors note: Similarities in structure and material don't mean they evolved from each other. The creators of historic art are identified by similar structure and materials in the historic art. The similarities in structure and materials in life make it plausible to consider a single creator.]

High School: Earth science book, (McDougal Littell, Earth Science, Spaulding-Mamowitz, used in the Springfield R-12 School District), says on page 70, “Earth as you know it today is the result of changes that have occurred over billions of years.” The Springfield Public Schools boldly state the “billions of years” in Evolution as fact, even though the endless scientific and historical evidence says differently. It is overwhelmingly obvious that it is the religious conversion of the students that is most important to Springfield Public Schools, not cohesive education.

Does It Really Matter What You Believe?

           

Does it Really Matter if Students Deny Faith in Jesus Christ and His Words Found in the Holy Bible?

Jesus accepted the Genesis account of the origin of life as completely accurate. The Springfield Public Schools teach the religious belief that mindless Evolution brought all life.

To say Evolution is true is to say Jesus and His words are false, thus denying faith in Jesus Christ.

According to Jesus, what will be the fate of those that deny him, or as he puts it, are “ashamed” of him. Jesus says in Mark 8:38,

If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.

And Jesus says in Mathew 10:32-33

Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven.
But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in
heaven.

Clearly, eternal punishment is waiting for those that say Jesus is wrong. To say that Evolution is true is to say that Jesus and His words are wrong because the two teach such profoundly different things. Consequently it is evident that eternal punishment is waiting for any person that would speak with their mouth, and or signify by writing, like on a Springfield Public School test, that Evolution is true.

From early grades through high school, the Springfield Public Schools use bogus science, intimidation and more to pressure children into confessing that Evolution is true. Again, to say Evolution is true is to say Jesus Christ is wrong, and that puts a person at risk of God’s eternal punishment. How could I be considered a good father if I allowed my children to be pressured to do something that puts them at risk of God’s eternal punishment.

Jesus Christ has these words for me and also for you, the Honorable School Board;

Jesus said in Mathew 18:6

But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

But does God really care about what you say with your mouth or in writing? In Mathew 12:36-37 Jesus said,

But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken.
For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”

Do you know why the founding fathers of the United States made the very First Amendment of the Constitution to describe every citizens right to freedom of religion and freedom of speech without persecution from the government? Because they understood that some things in life mean more than life itself, like the details of one’s religion and their clear conscience towards Almighty God.

Here is a small sample of questions my children are asked by the Springfield Public School, to renounce their faith in Jesus Christ and solidify their faith in the establishment’s religion of Evolution:

Example 1:

Page 299 of the biology text book (Biology, eighth edition, Sylvia S Mader, used in the Springfield R-12 Public Schools), says:

Choose the best answer for each question.

5. Organisms
A. compete with other members of their species.
B. differ in fitness.
C. are adapted to their environment.
D. are related by descent from common ancestors.
E. All of these are correct.

The answer the Evolution devoted Springfield Public Schools are wanting is “E”. All of these are correct. At the moment “E” is chosen as the correct answer, a confession with the clarity of ink is made, “Jesus Christ is false and the processes of Evolution are true. God is not my maker and Father, Evolution is,” as is signified by the
teaching of “common ancestors.”

“D” is where the blasphemy is conclusively settled, “…descent from common ancestors.” That term is clearly identified in this chapter. Page 292 says, “A common ancestor is at each fork of the evolutionary tree…”. To say all the above is true is to say that humans evolved from lower life forms "common ancestor is at each fork of the evolutionary tree". Jesus and the Bible clearly state that humans were made, complete, intelligent and about 6,000 years ago.

Example 2:

Page 299 of the biology text book (Biology, eighth edition, Sylvia S Mader, used in the Springfield R-12 Public Schools), says:

8. The fossil record offers direct evidence for common descent because you can
A. see that the types of fossils change over time.
B. sometimes find common ancestors.
C. trace the ancestry of a particular group
D. trace the biological history of living things.
E. all of these are correct

Again, the answer the Evolution devoted Springfield Public Schools are wanting is “E”. All of these are correct. At the moment “E” is chosen as the correct answer, again a confession with the clarity of ink is made, “Jesus Christ is false and the processes of Evolution are true. God is not my maker and Father, Evolution is.”

The question starts off loaded, “The fossil record offers direct evidence for common descent…” Evolution has truck loads of profoundly incoherent statements. This is one of them. The reality is, the fossil record is one of the most conclusive evidences that “common decent”, as implied in this question, does not exist. [For example, the Cambrian explosion that shows an immediate appearance of life in the fossil record with no predecessors below them in the rock.] But for those that embrace the faith of Evolution, facts and the integrity of science take a back seat to the survival of the religion of Evolution. Page 297 in the high school Earth Science text book (tenth edition, Tarbuck - Lutgens used in the Springfield R-12 School District), it says, “Within each of the ages, there are many subdivisions based, for example, on certain species of trilobites and certain types of fish, reptiles, and so on. This same succession of dominate organisms, never out of order, is found on every continent.”



Never out of order??? [Authors note: Please see the book Bones of Contention by Marvin Lubenow, the brief Lee Stroble video, http://www.ctvn.org/originsarchive.asp, and a 1 hour Dr. Patton vidio.] Books have been written explaining the truth about the fossil record and how it conclusively disproves Evolution. Attachment B has photos that show human foot prints with dinosaur foot prints as well as other human items found in the same strata that definitively put humans with dinosaurs destroying the Evolutionist version of what the fossil record shows. Remember, Evolutionist say that dinosaurs and humans are supposed to be 63 million years apart.

Example 3:

The above was high school curricula. Lets look at what the Springfield Public Schools are trying to do to my 3rd grade daughter. Her 3rd grade McGraw Hill science book deceptively builds up the establishment religion of the Springfield Public Schools. Page C 20 says, “Fossils tell us the story of life on Earth billions of years ago.”

The Springfield Public Schools boldly declare to my tender 3rd grade daughter that beloved Evolution, not God, orchestrated “the story of life…” including how she came to the Earth. You can’t get a more religious teaching than the origin of one’s body and soul. The Springfield Public Schools boldly tell my daughter that all that she is including the deepest mysteries of her being, evolved “over billions of years” from lower life forms. What’s worse, the Springfield Public Schools use bogus science to persuade her young mind that such teachings have a scientific basis…so they must be true.

Recap. Page C 20 says, “Fossils tell us the story of life on Earth billions of years ago.” Page C 24 tells my precious daughter, “…dinosaur that lived millions of years ago.” Then on page C 25, she is told, “Ferns are some of Earth’s oldest plants. Plants that make flowers came later.” Again, completely rejecting the Biblical account of creation which is a complete functioning world with a fully developed man was made in six 24 hour days. My sweet eight year old daughter with her tender brown eyes is never told that it is completely and entirely impossible, from a scientific and biological standpoint, for Evolution as they teach it to ever have occurred.

Page C 25 asks my daughter to say with her mouth and in writing the answer to this question, “How has life on Earth changed over time?” Now she just got shown photos of bones declared millions and even billions of years old. She was just told on this very page that plants that make flowers evolved many years after ferns (not made on the same day as clearly spoken in Genesis.) She is sitting in a building that it’s very presence proclaims authority. On top of this she has been told by her parents to respect and obey her teacher. Now with all of this influence preceding this question, she is asked to make a decision. “Is Evolution right or, Jesus?” To some this question means nothing. To others that know the truth, it means everything. Remember, Jesus said in Mathew 12:37,

For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.

And, He said in Mathew 10:32-33,

Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven.
But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.

Does my eight year old daughter take the easier path of siding with the system which includes the beloved faith of Evolution, or does she start a one girl crusade to establish the truth? You tell me.

Jesus Christ said in Mark 9:42,

And if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around his neck.



According to Jesus, it would be better for me that I be tragically drown than to put my sweet Elisabeth into the setting I described above, which is the setting in the Springfield Public Schools. This is why I respectfully request from this Honorable School Board 90% [author's note - in the current bill, 100% is depicted minus all transportation and federal funds in a district] of my children’s education dollars to be placed into their Education Escrow Accounts so they can have the same opportunities in education and in life as the children of those parents that accept the Faith of Evolution.
